Dell Introduces 24″ and 27″ Gaming Monitor with tn Panel and FreeSync
Dell comes with two new gaming monitors, both with a tn panel with a high refresh rate. The S2419HGF is an fhd monitor with a panel that goes up to 144Hz and the S2719DGF is a qhd variant with a refresh rate up to 155Hz.
Both monitors have a gray-to-gray response time of 1ms and a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2. The contrast ratio is according to Dell 1000:1 and the horizontal viewing angle is 170 degrees. The 24″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a native refresh rate of 120Hz. However, Dell overclocks the screen to 144Hz.
The 27″ monitor has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz when using hdmi 2.0 or displayport. With displayport, an overclock to 155Hz is possible. The FreeSync range starts at 40Hz and goes up to the maximum overclocked refresh rate. for both screens.

The 24″ screen has two HDMI 1.4 connections, a displayport 1.2 connection and two USB 3.0 ports. The 27″ version is equipped with an HDMI 2.0, HDMI 1.4 and displayport 1.2 connection and has three USB 3.0 ports. ports. Both monitors have audio inputs and outputs.
Dell will release the 24″ model for $320 and the 27″ variant will have a suggested retail price of $550. Euro prices have not yet been announced. The gaming monitors will be released in August.
