Deepcool introduces three water-cooled housings

At CES in Las Vegas, Deepcool announced four cases, three of which come with pre-installed water cooling. The fourth housing uses four compartments. In addition, the company showed a large number of RGB coolers.

The most notable case that Deepcool showed is the Quadstellar case, which is very similar to the Tristellar case that the company released earlier. As the name suggests, the Quadstellar has an extra compartment, bringing the total to four. Components are housed in each compartment, which are thus thermally separated from each other. There is a compartment for hard drives, the power supply, the motherboard and the video card. Deepcool does not disclose how the separation between the latter two works, but it probably requires an extension cable for the pcie lanes. The air inlet in the compartments is controlled by sensors. Deepcool has not yet announced a price, but the Quadstellar should be available in May.

The three remaining housings come with pre-installed water cooling. The smallest is the Baronkase which is suitable for matx systems and comes with a water cooler with 120mm radiator. That Captain EX120 has a visible water flow indicator. The housing is equipped with RGB LEDs that illuminate various parts and the Baronkase is available from April for $130. The Earlkase is an atx case with a pre-installed 140mm water cooler and has two compartments. A glass side panel offers a view of the components, which in turn are illuminated with RGB LEDs. The Earlkase will go on sale in April for $150.

The top model is the New Ark 90, an ATX housing with a glass side and top panel. Built into the housing is a 280mm radiator as part of the Captain 280EX water cooler, along with three 140mm fans for airflow. The housing has not yet received a suggested retail price and will be available a little later, in May. The Captain water coolers will also be available separately from March, with the 120EX costing $100 and the 280EX set to cost $130.

In addition to the housings, Deepcool announced two fan series with RGB lighting. The MF120GT set consists of three fans with RGB strips on an x-shaped housing that can be controlled via a smartphone app. The set costs $100. The MF120 fan is a frameless design that also features RGB lighting and whose fan blades are free: they are not mounted in a tunnel. The RGB lighting can again be controlled with an app. The sets will be available from April and come with three fans for $90.
