Kojima Productions will release Death Stranding on January 30 for select iPhones, iPads and Macs. The game was initially supposed to be released last year, but was postponed. The game will cost $40, although the App Store currently lists a lower pre-order price.

Death Stranding is going to work on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, in addition to iPads and Macs with an M1 SoC or newer. This concerns the Director’s Cut version of the game, which was released in 2021 and contains extra content compared to the standard version from 2019. Various American media mention a price of 40 dollars for the game. It is currently unknown what the euro price will be upon release. The App Store currently only has a discount price of 23 euros.

Hideo Kojima announced the Mac version of Death Stranding last June at Apple’s WWDC developer event. The announcement of the iOS version followed in September, together with the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max phones, which are the only iPhones that support the game with their A17 Pro soc.

Kojima previously did not share release dates for the new versions of Death Stranding, although the ports were initially expected to be released in 2023. Publisher 505 Games announced in December that the game would be postponed to ‘early 2024’, without mentioning a specific date at the time.
