Death Stranding PC Version Delayed Until July 14
The release of the Windows version of Death Stranding has been delayed by a month and a half. The release date has been moved from June 2 to July 14. Kojima Productions says that more time is needed due to the measures that require working from home.
Kojima Productions announced the postponement on Tuesday morning on Twitter. After the postponement, the game will be released on both the Steam Store and the Epic Games Store. The game has been available for the PlayStation 4 since November 2019. It is the first title from Kojima Productions, Hideo Kojima’s new game studio that he set up after he left Metal Gear owner Konami.
The Windows version of Death Stranding will at least get a photo mode, support for yourqhd resolutions and extra high frame rates. In addition, cosmetic items based on elements of Valve’s game Half-Life will become available. For example, in addition to Gordon Freeman’s glasses, the iconic head crab from the 1998 shooter is available, as well as Alyx Vance’s gloves from the VR title Half-Life: Alyx.
