Death Stranding Director’s Cut coming ‘soon’ to PlayStation 5
Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to PlayStation 5. Hideo Kojima announced it during Summer Game Fest. Images were also shown, which, in addition to graphical improvements, also indicate new environments and enemies.
It is not yet known what changes the new version will entail compared to the game that appeared in 2019. Hideo Kojima, CEO of studio Kojima Productions, said nothing about that.
In a video , actor Norman Reedus can be seen as Sam, the main character of Death Stranding. New enemies can also be seen and the environment in which the video takes place is not in the original game. The video seems to hint at stealth gameplay as seen in the Metal Gear games. Those games are also made by Kojima.
More details about Death Stranding Director’s Cut will be revealed in ‘a few weeks’. Presumably that happens in a presentation from Sony. The game was announced with the PlayStation Studios logo and will only be released for the PlayStation 5 as far as we know.
