Dacia shows off electric Spring concept car coming in 2021 with 200km range
Dacia, part of Groupe Renault, has presented the Spring concept car. This hatchback, which is relatively higher on its wheels, should eventually appear on the market in 2021. The production version has a range of 200 km in accordance with the wltp standard.
According to Dacia, the Spring is designed to provide affordable and sustainable mobility for everyone. It is a fully electrically powered car with a length of 3.73 m, five doors and four seats. As far as the design of the Spring is concerned, Dacia relies heavily on the Renault City K-ZE produced and released in China.
The manufacturer says the car will be priced ‘fairly’, although no pricing information has yet been provided. According to Dacia, the Spring will receive a ‘compact battery’ that is tailored to urban use, although the capacity of the battery is not yet mentioned. Other technical details are also missing for the time being.
