D66 wants to legally allow Ddos attacks in protest

D66 would no longer like to label Ddos attacks that are committed as an online demonstration as illegal. This is reported by Novum news agency. D66 says it wants to draw up clear rules for online demonstrations.

Legalizing ddos ​​attacks would be part of these rules. The political party does require that the attack be announced in advance, so that companies can already take measures to limit its impact. According to Verhoeven, the rules regarding digital demonstrations must be laid down in law. By drawing up rules, such online demonstrations could be conducted in a decent manner, according to D66.

Legalizing a DDoS attack is part of the D66 election program, parts of which have been published by the Novum news agency. The program also states that the party wants to do more to protect the privacy of internet users: for example, more must be done to limit the transfer of personal information by companies and investigation services should have less easy access to e-mail data.
