Cyberpunk Animated Series From Netflix And CD Projekt RED Coming In September

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be available on Netflix in September. It is a ten-part animated series, created by CD Projekt RED and Studio Trigger. The series tells a separate story about a street child who has to survive in a futuristic environment.

Netflix shows a short teaser trailer and a short fragment of the series† The streaming service also announces that the series can be seen from September, although it is not yet known from which date. CD Projekt Red has a much longer video posted online which offers a look behind the scenes of the creation.

The series was created by Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red in collaboration with Japanese animation studio Studio Trigger. In the video of more than eleven minutes, employees of both companies have their say. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners was announced way back in 2020.
