CD Projekt Red has postponed further content for Cyberpunk 2077 until next year. This applies to both downloadable content and patches. At the moment, the Polish game developer gives no further indication of when one can expect that content.

CD Projekt Red does not provide further explanation of the change in the roadmap. The rationale for delaying next-gen upgrades to The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 just under two weeks ago was that the studio “wants to get it right.” The revised roadmap has been published without further notice on a news page on the game’s site, in the form of an edit.

So the last update for this year’s game was version 1.31, released in September. The only DLC for the game to date has been some cosmetic items, paired with patch 1.3. The studio plans to release further “fixes, improvements and free DLC” in the next year and the next-gen upgrade is scheduled for the first quarter of next year, ie before the end of March.

Cyberpunk 2077 was released a little over a year ago, on December 10, 2020. The game suffered from performance issues, bugs and crashes on all platforms. Nevertheless, it turned out just under two weeks after its release that the highly anticipated game had sold 13 million times.
