Cyberpunk 2077 was sold more than 13 million times by December 20, despite bug refund options, CD Projekt Red reports. The game had 8 million pre-orders for its release, which took place on December 10th.

CD Projekt reports expected sales of more than 13 million copies of Cyberpunk 2077 in a statement to investors. The company included sales across all hardware platforms and subtracted refund requests from stores and through its own Help Me Refund campaign.

The game reached sales in ten days. It is not known how many players have used the refund options. Sony removed the game from PlayStation Store on Friday last week, then reported it would be giving money back to unsatisfied buyers. Microsoft and CD Projekt Red announced a day later that players could get their money back due to the many bugs in the game.

Chances are, since December 20th, more players have sent the game back, while on the other side CD Projekt Red is releasing patches to improve performance and display, which could positively impact sales. A total of 28 million copies of CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 3 were sold earlier this year.
