Cuphead game coming to the Tesla Model 3, Model S and Model X

The 2D platform shooter Cuphead will be playable on the infotainment system of the Tesla Model 3, Model S and Model X. The version of Cuphead for the cars is expected to be released by the end of the summer.

Cuphead, the animated-style 2D platform shooter cum sidescroller from the 1930s, will be released for the Tesla Model 3, Model S and Model X, Elon Musk told the Ride the Lightning podcast. Musk indicates in the podcast that the developers have gotten Cuphead working on the dashboard of the Tesla cars. earlier tweeted Musk that his team is in the process of transferring the Unity game engine, the engine Cuphead is also made from, to the Tesla car system.

The game is likely to be released towards the end of the summer and will only feature the ‘Inkwell Isle One’ section of the platformer. Also, the car version of Cuphead is only playable when the car is stationary and a USB controller is connected. Cuphead was released for PC in 2017 and a version for Nintendo Switch appeared in 2019.

Earlier, Tesla also brought classic Atari games to the Tesla Model 3, Model S and X. 2048, Lunar Landing and Missile Command, among others, got a playable version for the Tesla.
