Cryorig comes with QF140 fans in Silent and Performance versions
Cryorig comes with two new 140mm fans. The QF140 is available in a Silent variant and in a Performance version. Both models have fluid bearings and integrated rubbers to absorb vibrations. The fans will cost about 18 euros each.
According to Cryorig, the QF140 fans have a design that allows more air to enter through the corners. This should ensure a greater supply of air and thereby increase the total airflow. The manufacturer also used the same ‘Quad Air Intake’ system on its QF120 fans.
The PWM fans have a variable speed. The silent version rotates 200 to 1000 rounds per minute. The Performance model, which can move more air, does 600 to 1850rpm. According to the manufacturer, the silent model is virtually inaudible, even when running at maximum speed.
Cyrorig supplies the fans with mounting screws and a molex adapter, for a suggested retail price of 14.99 euros excluding VAT. With VAT that is about 18 euros. It is not yet known when the fans will be in stores.
