Crowfall has been given a release date after six years of development
Crowfall has been given a release date after more than six years in development. The mmo will be released for PC on July 6, 2021. The game should have been released last year, but was postponed like many other games.
In 2015, developer ArtCraft Entertainment ran a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $1.8 million. After that, another 12 million dollars was raised from investors. Those who supported the project during the Kickstarter have had to wait more than six years for the game.
In an interview with PC Gamer, the developer said that although the game will be officially released next month, “the game is never finished”. Crowfall, like many other mmo’s, will be further developed.
Since last year, beta tests have been running, in which people who supported the game can participate. Now the game will get a full release next month. The game is only coming to PC for now.
In Crowfall, players go through a campaign that lasts for a certain amount of time. During the campaign, players can conquer land and collect loot. When the campaign ends, the world is destroyed and players take only their character and accumulated loot to their own home world. Then a new campaign starts.
