The game developer Day for Night Games is far from reaching the target amount of the Kickstarter project The Black Glove. The team only managed to raise less than half of the intended money through the crowdfunding platform and is now looking for other solutions.

After more than thirty days, the project has raised about 217,000 dollars, which is about 175,000 euros. That is less than half of the intended goal of 550,000 dollars, or 443,000 euros. Day for Night Games says it will continue to ‘fight’ for the preservation of The Black Glove. According to the developer, it could take weeks or months before news about the development of the game comes out.

The Kickstarter project got off to a relatively smooth start. Within a few days, more than ten percent of the target amount was raised. In the following weeks, however, significantly less progress was made.

The developers of the game include individuals who have worked on BioShock and SWAT 4 in the past. The game was originally planned to release in late 2015 for Windows, OS X, and Linux systems, with other platforms to follow later. It is unclear whether those plans will be changed by missing the target amount.
