Criterion is working on extreme sports game

Criterion games, known for the Burnout games and multiple Need for Speed ​​titles, is working on an extreme sports game. Players can compete in races using helicopters, jet skis, quad bikes, wingsuits, parachutes and multiple vehicle combinations.

The announcement comes during the E3 press conference from publisher Electronic Arts. However, the images shown were from a very early build of the game. The title doesn’t even have a name yet. The team says they have gained a lot of inspiration from images of extreme athletes filming their own stunts.

Criterion’s new game has no further details on a release date and on which platforms the game will appear. However, previous Criterion titles have always come out for both Sony’s and Microsoft’s consoles and Windows.
