Creative Assembly working on first person tactical shooter
Creative Assembly, the developer of the well-known rts games in the Total War series, is working on an undisclosed new game title. It is a tactical shooter with a first-person perspective.
There are several vacancies on the Creative Assembly website that indicate that the developer is looking for people to develop the new game. Specifically, it’s about finding new people for the Creative Assembly team responsible for the October 2014 horror game Alien: Isolation.
Creative Assembly has not yet released many details about the new shooter to be developed. The job postings state that the team that developed Alien: Isolation will “explore new frontiers” with the shooter. For the new project, vacancies are available for various positions.
The vacancies for the new shooter are striking, because Creative Assembly is mainly known for making games in the RTS series Total War. Alien: Isolation is an action-adventure in which the player controls Amanda Ripley, the daughter of the protagonist from the Alien films, from a first-person perspective. In 2017, the developer made the RTS game Halo Wars 2.
