Creative Assembly sci-shooter Hyenas will be released next year

Creative Assembly, the creator of Aliens: Isolation, has unveiled the first images of its sci-fi shooter Hyenas. The game is slated to be released “next year” for Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 5, and PC.

Hyenas takes place in space. The players have to loot large flying malls called Plunderships. They are divided into four teams, each of which has three players. The team with the most treasures at the end of the match wins. For that, not only does it have to compete with other players, but the team also has to consider the dangerous environment, mercenaries, weaponized drones and alarm systems.

Creative Assembly previously announced that it is working on a new game, but the name and other details were not yet known. Chief product officer Rob Bartholomew emphasized that it was a ‘new IP’.
