Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is coming to Windows on March 26
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is out March 26 for Windows. The game will be available for purchase on Battle.net, the platform of publisher Activision. With this release date, the game follows closely behind the release date for ports for the Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
The versions for the current generation of consoles were released last Friday, March 12. The previous generation Xbox and PlayStation already got the game in October of last year. The game costs forty euros for Windows, while it costs fifty euros for the Switch and seventy euros for the Xbox and PlayStation. Publisher Activision announces the Windows release date with a short trailer.
The title of this fourth game refers, among other things, to an element in the game. There are four Quantum Masks with special properties. One of them is the Time Mask. When Crash puts on that mask, he can slow down time to perform certain actions. There is also a Gravity Mask, which allows protagonist Crash to walk at the bottom of platforms.
The game is the second ‘main game’ since Crash was out of sight for a while. From 2011 to 2016, not a single game of this bandicoot was released on the market. That changed in 2017, with the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, but those were remasters of Crash games from the 90s. Crash Bandicoot 4 is the first proper sequel in over a decade.
