Cover indicates possible arrival of iPad with 10.5 “screen in June

Accessory maker Urban Armor will release a cover for an iPad with a 10.5″ screen in June. Apple has not yet announced an iPad in that size, but there have been rumors of a 10.5″ model for some time.

The UAG Metropolis Folio Case for the iPad with 10.5″ screen is in a stock system from an authorized Apple reseller, 9to5mac says. The website has published an image of the listing. The same case already exists for the 12.9″ case. variant of the iPad Pro.

According to the stock system, the new cover will be available in June. Apple will also hold its WWDC developer event that month, with the company possibly announcing a new iPad Pro. That would be different, because Apple has not introduced any hardware at the event in recent years.

Rumors about the arrival of a 10.5″ model of the iPad Pro first appeared in August last year, when the arrival of a new cheaper 9.7″ model was also predicted. Apple presented that model in March.

At the beginning of this year, more information was released about the suspected 10.5″ version of the iPad Pro. The model is said to have thinner screen bezels than the current tablets from the iPad Air and Pro series, so that the housing would be about the same size as the 9.7″ versions.
