Counterpoint: Smartphone deliveries in Europe fell 11 percent
Smartphone deliveries in Europe fell by 11 percent in the summer compared to last summer. That’s what Counterpoint Research estimates. The proportions on the market remained approximately the same.
The decline is therefore slightly lower than in the spring, when the market shrank by 14 percent. Due to the continued declines, smartphone makers are now often at deliveries as they were in 2014 or earlier. notes the analyst firm. For Samsung, deliveries are at 2011 levels.
Samsung remains the market leader with 32 percent, followed by Apple with 24 percent and Xiaomi with 22 percent. The only growers in Europe are the Chinese Honor, which has 3 percent of the market, and the even smaller Transsion. The latter is mainly active on the Russian market with brands such as Tecno.
