Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Beta Available for Linux – Update

The shooter first appeared on the market in 2012. The game started as a project by developer Hidden Path Entertainment, who wanted to port Counter-Strike: Source to Xbox Live Arcade. Update, 11:38: The game appears to have already left beta and has been officially released for Linux. If you visit the Steam store via the website, you will only see the versions for Windows and OS X. However, the game can already be downloaded and played via the Linux version of the Steam client.
