Corsair upgrades One Pro gaming PC with RTX 2080 Ti and Intel Core i9 CPU
Corsair announces in the context of the CES fair that it is providing its One Pro game PCs with an upgrade. The Corsair One Pro i180 gets an Intel Core i9-9920X and an Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti. The manufacturer also releases two cheaper, new models.
Corsair reports that the Intel Core i9-9920X, which has twelve cores and twenty-four threads, is water-cooled in the One Pro i180 and has a clock speed of 4.5GHz. Four strips of 8GB of DDR4 memory at 2666MHz are added. The RTX 2080 Ti GPU is assisted by an NVME SSD with a capacity of 960GB and a 2TB HDD with a speed of 5400rpm is available for storage.
The manufacturer also releases two cheaper variants. There is the Corsair One i160, which has an Intel Core i9-9900K CPU and also an RTX 2080 Ti. The Corsair One i140 has to make do with an Intel Core i7-9700K and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080. The three variants all have Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi according to the 802.11ac standard.

The Corsair One Pro i180 will cost $5,000, while the One i160 will be priced at $3,600 and the One i140 will cost $3,000. The One i140 is already available in the United States, but the three variants will also be available through the Corsair web store sometime in early 2019.
This upgrade makes the new variants of the Corsair One more powerful and more expensive than the last versions, which came on the market from August 2017. These all had a Core i7-7700K, an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 or 1080 Ti, up to 16GB or 32GB of DDR4 memory, and NVME SSDs of up to 480GB. The most expensive version was then 3039 euros. With a capacity of 12 liters, the new versions to be released are comparable in size, although they are slightly smaller.
