Corsair releases wood panels for 4000 and 5000 series cases
Corsair is introducing replacement wood panels for its 4000 and 5000 series cases. The company supplies the panels with three different types of wood, which can be placed at the front and top of the housings. The panels are supplied from 56.90 euros.
Corsair introduces several color options for its wood panels, writes Tom’s Hardware, among others. Users can choose from three types of wood: bamboo, sapele and teak. The former is a light type of wood, while the latter two are darker colored. The sapeli and teak variants are described as panels with ‘a wooden veneer’; This is not the case with bamboo.
The panels have the same triangular holes as the current 4000D and 5000D Airflow housings, which are intended for air passage. According to the manufacturer, the panels offer ‘the same airflow’ as those existing cases. The wooden panels for the 4000 series are delivered from 56.90 euros. The variants for the 5000 series are larger and cost 78.90 euros. Fractal Design previously introduced its North housing, which has a wooden front as standard.
