Corsair announced a new mouse and keyboard at CES. The Scimitar Pro mouse has twelve macro buttons and the K95 keyboard has mechanical keys. Both products are equipped with RGB lighting.

The mouse bears the full name Corsair Scimitar PRO RGB. It has a 16,000 dpi sensor, twelve macro buttons and two buttons for the dpi switcher. Including the mouse buttons and the scroll wheel, the mouse has a total of seventeen buttons. It also has its own storage where personal settings can be saved, so that the mouse continues to function in the same way on another computer.

The K95 RGB Platinum keyboard features Cherry RGB type mechanical switches. The keyboard is available with brown switches or so-called Speed switches, which are similar to red switches, but need to be pressed less deeply before the pressure action is registered. The keyboard has six programmable macro keys, separate media keys and RGB lighting. Like the mouse, it has internal storage where you can store your own profiles. At the back is an extra USB 2.0 port.

Corsair’s website charges $89.99 for the Scimitar Pro RGB mouse and $199.99 for the K95 RGB Platinum keyboard. Converted and including VAT, this is approximately 100 and 230 euros respectively. It is not known when the devices can be expected in stores.
