Corsair announces a new mechanical keyboard that is a lot thinner than the average mechanical keyboard. The Corsair K100 Air has low profile keys and is 11 millimeters high at the lowest point at the bottom of the keyboard.

The keyboard gets a black aluminum frame with black keys and features RGB lighting that can be adjusted. To give the keyboard a low profile, Corsair opted for the Cherry MX ultra low profile switches.

Furthermore, the keyboard is equipped with bluetooth and can be connected to three different devices. Wireless, the K100 Air should last 50 hours. When the RGB lighting is turned off, the battery life is 200 hours. The keyboard can also be wired to a PC via USB.

The keyboard has its own storage of 8MB on which up to fifty profiles can be stored. Users can set and save their own lighting effects and macros via the profiles. The Corsair K100 Air should be available from October 4. The manufacturer has not yet announced a price.
