Cooler Master will soon release the modular MasterHub controller for 399 euros
Cooler Master showed off the final version of its Masterhub controller at Computex 2024. The Stream Deck-like button hub will be on the market in September for 399 euros. The brand previously showed a prototype.
This modular version of a macro pad consists of a basic module containing modules with a rotary wheel, screen, three smaller rotary knobs, a macro pad with fifteen buttons and two scroll wheels. The various hardware modules are magnetic and use pogo pins to connect to the main unit. The modules can be removed and reconnected in any position. The MasterHub software automatically recognizes what is connected and in what orientation it is.
The MasterHub has standard profiles for commonly used software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and Illustrator. Using the various buttons and scroll wheels, users can, for example, zoom, select brushes and adjust the size of brushes. A lot can also be adjusted with macros.
In addition to the basic module, additional accessories are available, such as a module with five faders. In the longer term, there will be screens of varying sizes, for example to show live status information or the color picker in Photoshop. However, these modules are still under development and will probably not be launched on the market until 2025.
