Cooler Master Releases MasterBox 5 Enclosure
Cooler Master has released its MasterBox 5. The mid-tower housing is the first in the new series of MasterBox models, which are partly modular. Cooler Master focuses on mainstream users with the model.
Cooler Master already showed the MasterBox on the Computex and the manufacturer already said that these were variants of the MasterCases. The MasterBox models are also modular, but to a limited extent, which allows prices to remain lower. There will be a Lite and a 6 model in the series, but Cooler Master kicks off with the 5, which comes in black and black and white.
The atx housing can accommodate up to e-atx motherboards and the modular design allows for various cooling options. The manufacturer talks about support for four 120mm fans or a 360mm radiator at the front. There would also be room for a maximum of three video cards with a length of 410 mm.
The MasterBox 5 can also be set up with storage media in various ways: the SSD brackets and HDD bays can be arranged at different positions in the housing. The dimensions are 500 x 220 x 475mm and the housing is made of steel, with a plastic bezel. The Master Box 5 Black and 5 Dual Tone will be available this month for a suggested retail price of 69.99 euros.
