Cooler Master is releasing its StreamEnjin in September, an audio and video mixer aimed at live stream creators. The StreamEnjin must be combined with an iPad. It is Cooler Master’s first device aimed at streamers.

According to Cooler Master, the StreamEnjin allows streamers to adjust images and audio without interruption during a live stream. The device can stream streams to two platforms simultaneously and there are eight ‘preset scenes’ to personalize the image. The portable device weighs 1.89kg.
The StreamEnjin works in combination with an iPad and the app that Cooler Master has developed for this. Requires a minimum of iOS 11 and an iPad Pro, a fifth-generation iPad or iPad mini, or a third-generation iPad Air. With the app, users can see previews and it is possible to set transitions and overlays, for example. Android support is also being worked on, but it is not yet known when it will be available and with which devices it will work.
Cooler Master provides the StreamEnjin with three HDMI inputs and two outputs. The device also has an Ethernet connection and a USB port, with which firmware updates can also be made. From September 7, the device is for sale for a suggested retail price of 849 euros.
