Cooler Master Introduces CM Storm Stryker Case
Released under Cooler Masters CM Storm brand, the Stryker case is a full tower case aimed at gamers. The large Stryker is intended to accommodate various video cards and high-end components.
The housing is 605.6 millimeters high, 578.5 millimeters deep and 250 millimeters wide, and weighs 13.7 kilograms. The full tower has room for a motherboard with a maximum of XL-ATX format and eight 3.5″ drives or thirteen 2.5″ drives can be built in internally. Two 5.25″ drive bays are universal; each can be used for three 5.25″ drives and can be converted for four 3.5″ drive bays. A total of thirteen 2.5″ drives can be installed, one of which external as a hot swap drive. The drive cages are cooled by 120mm fans and can also be removed to make room for large graphics cards.
The rest of the cooling consists of a 120mm intake at the front, a 200mm fan on top, a 140mm exhaust in the rear and optionally two coolers at the bottom. The inlets are equipped with dust filters and a fan controller is present on the front I/O panel. There are also two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, and audio connections on the front panel. The housing is mostly white with black grilles for the fans and 5.25″ drive bays. The CM Storm Stryker will be available from mid-July and will cost 160 euros.
