Computer manufacturer Chuwi will release mini PC with Ryzen 9 in October
Chinese computer manufacturer Chuwi will release the RZBOX in October, a two-liter mini PC featuring an AMD Ryzen 9 4900H with integrated Radeon Vega 8 GPU, up to 64GB of RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. The PC will probably cost about 511 euros.
The RZBOX measures 18.8cm by 17.8cm by 6cm and features an AMD Ryzen 9 4900H octacore processor with a clock speed of between 3.3GHz and 4.4GHz. Chuwi markets the mini PC as a small gaming PC, because of the Vega 8 GPU.
The 2 liter mini PC features two DDR4 SO-DIMM slots that both support up to 32GB DDR4-3200. The PC is also equipped with two M.2 2280 slots for up to two PCIe 3.0 SSDs. Chuwi itself supplies these with up to 512GB of storage, but says the storage can be expanded up to 5TB. There are three versions for sale, a bare metal version without SSD and memory, a version with 8GB ram and 256GB ssd and a version with 16GB ram and 512GB ssd.
On the outside, the case features a series of ports. On the front is a USB-C and USB-A port, and a microphone and headphone jack. On the back, the case features a DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, VGA, two RJ45 Ethernet ports, two USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports. The price of the RZBOX is not yet fixed, but according to Liliputing, the PC will cost about $500. Converted with VAT, this is 511 euros. The final price will be determined during the crowdfunding phase which runs from September 7 to October 12. Then Chuwi will deliver the mini PCs.
