Codemasters shows Circuit Zandvoort in the first images of F1 2020
Codemasters shows the first images of F1 2020. In a video, the makers show a lap of Max Verstappen on Circuit Zandvoort. The new F1 game, which will be released on July 10, does not seem to bring any major changes graphically.
Above the images, Codemasters shows that it is a work in progress, so the game is not quite finished yet. However, it seems that F1 2020 is not much different from last year’s version in terms of graphics. Circuit Zandvoort is included in the game for the first time. That circuit has been adapted for Formula 1 races and an F1 race would take place there next weekend, but that is canceled due to the corona crisis.
Codemasters announced F1 2020 in mid-April. The game will be released on July 10 on Steam and Google Stadia for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. F1 2020 includes a new My Team mode where players participate as the 11th team in the F1 Championship. During the season, players have to develop the team by expanding the factory. Players are both manager and driver in the new mode. Furthermore, split-screen support for local multiplayer returns.
