Codemasters releases DiRT Rally 2.0 on February 26, 2019

Codemasters has announced DiRT Rally 2.0. The rally game will be released at the end of February next year for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game features six locations and eight official WRX rallycross tracks.

Codemasters explains in the announcement that DiRT Rally 2.0 will take place in locations in New Zealand, Argentina, Spain, Poland, Australia and the United States. There are eight official circuits of the FIA ​​World Rallycross Championship included in the game. The game also contains official rally cars from different classes, but it is not yet known which ones are in the game.

The game will have a career mode, separate Events and Championships, and a multiplayer mode. Paid expansions for the game will follow after release. Codemasters will release a Deluxe Edition and players who choose it will also receive the first two seasons of DLC, each with three new locations. Buyers of the Deluxe version will also get faster access to five rally cars, including the Lancia Stratos and the 1995 Subaru Impreza. This more expensive version of the game will be available from February 22, a few days before the release of the regular version.

The first part of DiRT Rally first came out in 2015 via Steam Early Access. The second part will be released in a normal way, without a test period.
