Code iOS 16.5 beta contains information about upcoming Beats Studio Pro headphones
Code from the iOS 16.5 beta contains information about Beats’ unannounced Studio Pro headphones. The headphones would include a transparency mode and spatial audio. It is not known when the Beats Studio Pro will be released.
9to5Mac found information about the unannounced headphones in the code of the iOS 16.5 beta. For example, the headphones would support active noise reduction and would have a transparency mode and spatial audio. The code also contains images of the headphones. The headphones appear to have been co-developed with fashion designer Samuel Ross, 9to5Mac reports.
Furthermore, according to 9to5Mac, the headphones contain a USB-C port to charge the device and have a Beats chip instead of an Apple H1 or H2. The headphones are very similar to the existing Beats Studio3. The most notable design difference is that the Studio branding has been removed from the device. It is not known when the headphones will be introduced. 9to5Mac speculates that the headphones will hit stores soon.
The Beats Studio3 Wireless, which has been on the market since 2017, currently costs around 250 euros. What the Beats Studio Pro will cost, and whether Beats Studio3 Wireless will continue to be available after the Pro headphones, is not yet clear. According to 9to5Mac, the headphones will most likely be available in black, white, dark blue and brown.
