Publisher Activision has announced that the beta for the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on September 10. This is initially only for the PlayStation 4.

Activision announced on Twitter that Blackout, the name for the shooter’s battle royale mode, will be released on September 10 for the PlayStation 4. The company did not mention a date for the other platforms. That will probably be a week later. The public beta for the game also followed that pattern, releasing the beta on August 3 for PlayStation 4 and August 10 for PC and Xbox One.

The publisher has released few details about the battle royale mode of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The short teaser video on Twitter shows that players in Blackout can at least fight on their own, but also in pairs or in pairs. groups of four players. The now-ending regular beta featured six different conventional multiplayer modes and a number of innovations, including the lack of automatically regenerating player health.

Developer Treyarch previously announced that the beta of the Blackout mode will be added in the form of an update. Players therefore do not have to remove their client from the last public beta and therefore do not have to download the full game again. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released on October 12 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
