Aliens: Fireteam Elite will be released on August 24. The cooperative PvE shooter will be available for current and last-gen consoles. The game will also be released for PC via Steam. The standard edition of the game costs 40 euros.

The game was announced as Aliens: Fireteam in March, but the game’s title has since been changed to Aliens: Fireteam Elite. Developer Cold Iron did not yet announce a release date for the game, but today reports that the game will be released in the summer. The game will be available for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X and S consoles, and PC via Steam.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite is a cooperative PvE shooter for up to three players. The game takes place 23 years after the events of the Alien film trilogy, aboard the USS Endeavor spaceship. Players will face 20 different enemies, including 11 different Xenomorphs. Gamers can choose from five different classes, each with their own skills and perks.

Developer Cold Iron was founded in 2015 and consists of developers who have worked on games such as City of Heroes, Star Trek Online, Neverwinter and BioShock Infinite. The studio was acquired by Daybreak Games in 2020. It was already known at the time that Cold Iron was working on a game in the Alien franchise.
