Clockwork City DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online Coming October 23
Bethesda has announced that the Clockwork City expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online will be released on October 23 for PC and Mac. The version for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will follow on November 7.
The expansion adds a new area with new quests and monsters to the mmorpg. According to the makers, the DLC contains ten hours of new stories. The expansion is free for paying ESO Plus members. Other players can purchase the DLC through the in-game Crown Store for 2000 crowns. That represents a value of about 14 euros. Players do not need the previously released ESO: Morrowind expansion to play the new DLC.
Players of The Elder Scrolls Online will get a taste of the expansion with the Prologue Quest, which is available to all players. In that prologue, players must investigate fortune tellers, scholars and archaeologists who are killed by their own shadows. The quest is called Of Knives and Long Shadows and can be started by going to a Mages Guild headquarters in Tamriel and reading the Order of the Eye Dispatch note there.
