Citroën shows small electric two-seater concept car for the city

Citroën has unveiled the Ami One Concept. This is a small, fully electrically powered two-seater that, according to the manufacturer, is intended as a city vehicle. It is probably a concept car that will not go into production for the time being.

Citroën reports that the Ami One Concept is intended as an urban mobility object, indicating that the company wants to breathe new life into individual mobility in the city. To this end, the 2.5 meter long, 1.5 meter high and 450 kg heavy vehicle has a range of 100 km and a top speed of 45 km/h. According to the maker, people without a driver’s license can also use the car.

Users can rent the car by means of a voice-activated app for, for example, five minutes, but also for a period of five years, with Citroën working together with Free2Move. The doors open via a QR code. The car has a 5″ screen, a bluetooth speaker and smartphones can be charged wirelessly.

The French manufacturer will probably not put the vehicle into production or not entirely in this form, but the company hereby indicates its vision for the future of individual mobility in the city.
