Cities: Skylines, the citybuilder from publisher Paradox Interactive, will be available as a remaster for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles on February 15. Owners of the game and any DLC can download the remaster version for free.

According to the publisher Cities: Skylines Remastered offers a number of new features, such as 25 tiles to expand and build with, while the version for the PS4 and Xbox One does not exceed 9 tiles. According to Paradox, graphical improvements have also been made, but no details are shared.

Improvements have also been made to the user interface, including a new distance indicator and a panel for adjusting things like the time and weather conditions. In addition, there is a new tool to quickly select elements and a map editor will be present.

City: Skylines originally only came out for PC. That happened in 2015 and two years later releases for the PS4 and Xbox One followed. A version for the Nintendo Switch was also released after that, but these versions have their limitations compared to the PC version.
