Chrome OS gets support for multiple accounts simultaneously in test version

Google has built support for signing in to multiple accounts simultaneously in Chrome OS. The feature is included in the Canary version of the operating system. It is not yet clear when it will be available to all users.

The feature is available in the Account Manager, Chrome Story reports. In the new Canary version it is possible to log in with a different Google account. The feature allows users to combine a school or work account with a private account on the same laptop.

It is then possible in the browser or in apps to switch between accounts, for example to share information with websites or access purchases in the Play Store. In September it appeared that the position was coming, but he was not active until now.

Google has not announced the feature itself. This is probably done in a changelog of an upcoming version of the operating system. ChromeStory got the feature working on a Google Pixelbook, but it’s likely to work on all devices running Chrome OS.
