A Chinese testing institute has published the first photos of the Oppo Find 7. The device, which will be presented by the manufacturer next month, has a design that shows similarities with that of the Find 5 from last year.

The phone can be seen in photos of the Tenaa, a Chinese testing institute that is often the first to put images of unannounced smartphones online. The device, with the type number X9007, can be seen on a page of the Chinese institute.

The phone in the photos has a 5.5″ screen and measures 15.2×7.4cm, making the bezels on the sides especially small. Almost 74 percent of the surface is covered with screen. The Find 5, which features a smaller screen, measuring 14.2×6.8cm.

The Find 7 has a 5.5″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, although there is reportedly also a version with a full-HD screen of 1920×1080 pixels. The phone is believed to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800-soc. The manufacturer has also announced that unlike its predecessor, the phone will have a replaceable battery, and Oppo will present the Find 7 at its own event on March 19 in Beijing.
