The Chinese testing agency Tenaa published photos and some specifications of the alleged Samsung Galaxy S23 Fan Edition earlier this month. Previously, renders of the unannounced smartphone appeared online.

The photos by Tenaa correspond to renders that appeared online last June, and suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will largely resemble the regular Galaxy S23. The S23 Fan Edition will reportedly be released in some countries at the end of this year, after which the device will be released worldwide in early 2024. For the time being, Samsung has not yet officially announced the smartphone, although FE variants of the main S series have been launched on the market in recent years.

The testing agency’s website also lists alleged specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. For example, the smartphone would have a 6.3″ 1080p screen and the device would be equipped with a SoC with eight cores and a maximum clock frequency of 2.99GHz. It was previously suggested that it would be an Exynos SoC and therefore not Snapdragon. According to the website, the battery will have a capacity of 4370mAh. Variants with 128 and 256GB of storage space would be available, in both cases with 8GB of RAM.
