The Chinese tech manufacturer Maxsun has shown a video card of the upcoming Geforce generation with its own cooling. It can be deduced from the figure that the card can be powered with an eight-pin connector.

Maxsun showed an image of the video card during an event, according to a message on Baidu Tieba. The card is equipped with a cooler with three fans and RGB lighting. The text GeForce GTX can be seen on the side, also illuminated. The slide does not mention the name of the card. Maxsun accommodates the map shown in its iCraft series.

It can also be noted that there is a single eight-pin power connection and that there seems to be no DVI connector on the bracket. Nvidia is expected to announce the card during its GeForce Gaming Celebration event. It will take place on August 20 during Gamescom 2018 in Cologne.

Last week, photos appeared online of a PCB that is believed to be the basis of the reference model of the new video card. Another manufacturer, Manli, recently registered names for a GTX 2080 and 2070, VideoCardz reported. Earlier there were rumors that the new top model would be called GTX 1180. The GPU on the card would be the GA104-400, which seems to indicate that it is an Ampere GPU.
