Chinese manufacturer shows smartphone with largest battery capacity to date
The Chinese manufacturer ZTE has presented the smartphone with the largest battery to date. The Nubia X6 has a battery with a capacity of 4250mAh, larger than the 4050mAh in the Huawei Ascend Mate that appeared last year.
Most smartphones have batteries between 2000 and 3300mAh, with the largest phones often having the largest batteries. With 4250mAh, the Nubia X6 has a battery with a capacity that is normally reserved for small tablets. The manufacturer makes no claims about how long the device will last on a battery charge.
At 6.44 “, the screen is exactly the same as that of the Xperia Z Ultra from Sony and has the same resolution with 1920×1080 pixels. This makes the Nubia X6 one of the largest phones on the market. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801-soc, the same as in, for example, the Samsung Galaxy S5, Sony Xperia Z2 and new HTC One.
The phone has space for two SIM cards, reports MyDrivers, who attended an event of the manufacturer in the Chinese capital Beijing. The dualsim smartphone runs on an unknown Android version, has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and is available in variants with a storage memory of 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. The cheapest version costs converted around 350 euros, the most expensive should cost around 470 euros. The phone is currently only available in China.
