Chinese manufacturer releases smartphone with 1TB ufs flash storage
A Chinese manufacturer has announced its Smartisan R1 smartphone. The device has a Snapdragon 845-soc and a screen with a notch. A variant with 8GB ram and 1TB ufs 2.1 flash storage will appear.
The device has a 6.2″ LCD with a resolution of 2242×1080 pixels. The top has a small notch for the front camera. At the back are two cameras with resolutions of twelve and twenty megapixels. The twelve-megapixel camera has a Sony IMX363 sensor. with pixels of 1.4 microns, in front of which is a lens with an aperture of f/1.8.The second sensor is a Sony IMX350 with pixels of 1 micron.
The Smartisan smartphones are being developed for the Chinese market and are currently only for sale there. With the new R1 model, the manufacturer may also aim for other parts of the world, because the device supports many 4G bands, including band 20. The battery has a capacity of 3600mAh and there is support for fast charging and wireless charging. The device is equipped with a modified Android version that the manufacturer calls Smartisan OS 6.0.
In China, the cheapest model of the Smartisan R1 costs 3499 yuan. For that amount, buyers get 6GB of RAM and 64GB of flash storage. The top model with 8GB ram and 1TB flash memory costs 8848 yuan. Converted with VAT, that is about 1415 euros.
