Chinese manufacturer Meike comes with 85mm f / 1.8 autofocus lens

The Chinese manufacturer Meike announces its first autofocus lens. It is a 85 mm f/1.8, which comes out for Canon and Nikon dslrs and for Sony system cameras. A price has not yet been announced

The 85mm f / 1.8 by Meike is suitable for full-frame cameras according to the website of the Chinese manufacturer, but the Sony-version explicitly mentions aps-c . It is not clear whether the Sony variant actually has a different design that is not suitable for full-frame cameras.
The optical design consists of nine elements in six groups. The minimum focusing distance is 85 cm, measured from the sensor. The aperture is adjustable from f / 1.8 to f/ 22 and Meike says the lenses provide a multi-layer coating. Information the weight has not yet been announced by the manufacturer, but it is clear that 67mm filters fit the lens.
What the price is, is not yet known, but probably the Chinese manufacturer will go below the price level of the well-known brands to sit. Canon’s 85 mm f / 1.8 costs about 375 euros, the variants of Nikon and Sony are new and cost about 500 and 600 euros respectively.
