Chinese manufacturer MaxSun introduces GeForce RTX 4090 video card with five fans
Chinese video card maker MaxSun introduces a GeForce RTX 4090 video card in its Mega Gamer series. The video card has three large fans, in addition to two additional small fans at the top. MaxSun previously showed similar RTX 4070 Ti and 4080 video cards.
The MaxSun GeForce RTX 4090 MGG has a triple-slot design and a shroud with rounded corners, as can be seen on images that the manufacturer shares on Weibo. The video card has three large fans of 10 or 11 cm, which are located directly on the vapor chamber above the GPU. At the top of the video card are two small Air Boost fans that blow the air out of the video card to dissipate heat. also writes VideoCardz.
The video card also has a ‘screen’ based on several square LEDs. Users can adjust this via the associated software, for example to show text or gradients. The screen is powered via USB and is magnetically removable. The video card also has a factory overclock to 2580MHz, where the RTX 4090 is clocked at 2520MHz as standard.
MaxSun video cards are intended for the Chinese market, but are also available in Europe via Chinese e-commerce platforms, according to VideoCardz. However, to date, the manufacturer has not yet made its RTX 40 series available in this way. MaxSun does not share the suggested retail price of its RTX 4090 MGG.
