Chinese inspection agency reveals the arrival of two Huawei smartphones with Android 7
The Chinese certification body Tenaa has shown specifications and photos of two unannounced Huawei smartphones on Android 7.0. The high-end model will have a 5.7″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels.
Almost all specifications have been made public on Tenaa’s website, and you can also see what the smartphones will look like, Gizmochina noted. First up is the smartphone with the model number DUK-TL30. The housing shows that it is a device in the Honor series, that there is a dual camera on board, and that there is a fingerprint scanner on the back.
It is probably a smartphone for the high-end market, as Tenaa mentions a 5.7″ screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The housing runs an unspecified Kirin processor, but it is likely that it is the Kirin 960. There is 6GB of RAM, and the storage memory is set at 128GB, although that can be expanded with micro-SD cards. The battery with a capacity of 3900mAh is on the hefty side. on the back a 12-megapixel camera, which is accompanied by a 2-megapixel model.
The second smartphone has the model number WAS-AL00. This one lacks the dual camera and the fingerprint scanner is designed slightly differently. Furthermore, the WAS-AL00 has a 5.2″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. In the housing also runs an unspecified Kirin processor at a clock speed of 2.1GHz.
The rear camera allows you to shoot photos in 12 megapixels, while the front camera shoots at 8 megapixels. The battery has a capacity of 2900mAh and there is 64GB of storage memory. The software is based on Android 7.0, on which Huawei has placed its own software shell.
Because the still unannounced Huawei smartphones have appeared at a Chinese inspection body, an announcement seems to be imminent. However, details about the release and the price are not yet known. As a result, it is not yet clear whether the devices will come to Europe.
