Certification body shows Asus ROG Phone 3 with 16GB ram
The Asus ROG Phone 3 is on display at the Chinese testing agency Teena. The agency also mentions specifications. The device has a 6.6 “OLED screen with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels, without a notch. The phone has a 5800mAh battery.
Asus has registered variants with 8GB, 12GB and 16GB ram with the approval authority. The storage space is 128GB, 256GB or 512GB and the device runs on Android 10. The images show that there are three cameras on the back and according to the specifications, it is at least a primary 64-megapixel camera and a 13-megapixel front camera.
The device has dimensions of 171x78x9.85mm and weighs 240 grams. The phone will receive a Snapdragon 865-soc, which Qualcomm indicated earlier this year, in combination with a 5G modem. The first two variants of the ROG Phone featured a logo with RGB LEDs. The new model has the same logo and presumably also RGB lighting.
According to previous rumors, the ROG Phone 3 will have a 144Hz OLED screen. The refresh rate of the screen is not mentioned at Teena. It is not yet clear when Asus will officially announce its new gaming smartphone. It is also not yet known whether the device will be released in Europe.
