CD Projekt RED Releases 30GB Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077
Developer CD Projekt RED has released patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 for consoles and PC. The studio already showed the patch notes of this update earlier this week, but did not announce that the update would be released on the same day.
CD Projekt RED announces the release on its Twitter page. The company reports that the patch is currently available for the console and PC versions of the game. The Stadia version of the game will receive the patch later this week, the studio writes. The developer previously announced details about this update.
The size of the patch varies by platform. PC gamers who purchased the game on GOG can expect a 35GB download, it is stated on that platform’s forum. Installing the patch would then require ‘approximately 100GB’ of free disk space. The console version of the patch would take up 40 to 45GB of storage capacity, Eurogamer writes.
Patch 1.2 is the biggest update to Cyberpunk 2077 to date. According to the developer, the update brings more than 500 changes and also introduces ray tracing for PCs with AMD video cards. In January, CD Projekt RED already released a major update, version 1.1, which mainly included bug fixes and stability improvements.
