CD Projekt announces its plans for the coming years and announces several new games in the Witcher universe. In addition, there will be a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and the game company is working on a new IP under the name Hadar.

In an update, CD Projekt looks ahead at what the company is working on in the coming years. The Polish publisher is working on three different Witcher projects. The first project is Project Sirius which will be a multiplayer game within the Witcher universe. This game is being developed by a new studio of CD Projekt in the United States. The studio will be located in the city of Boston and together with the existing studio in Vancouver will form CD Projekt Red North America.

A direct sequel to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is also being worked on. This game will be the first part in a new trilogy. The working title for this game is project Polaris. Finally, the Witcher universe will receive a completely new game, which is being developed under the codename project Canis Majoris. This game should be a new open world RPG, separate from the existing Witcher games. CD Projekt is not releasing any further details about the games at this time.

So is a new game in the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. This game is under development under the name project Orion. This game is being developed alongside the new expansion to be released next year for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. CD Projekt also says it is looking at more alternative projects such as Cyberpunk 2077 Edge Runners that recently appeared on Netflix.

Then there is another new IP that is being developed under the name project Hadar. This game has been in development since 2021, but CD Projekt is not ready to share details about this game yet. It has also not been announced when the title should be released.

CD Projekt already announced last year that it was going to restructure to be able to develop multiple AAA games simultaneously. In addition, the company pledged to take better care of its employees after much criticism over the crunch needed to develop Cyberpunk 2077, which forced employees to work a lot of overtime. Previously, the company made the promise to avoid crunch not true.
